Hi, I’m Mia Avello. I’m from Miami, Florida, but I live in NYC right now. Jesus Loves You So Matcha came from a deep desire to center my entire life around God and His will.
There was a point where my goals, career dreams, and priorities completely shifted. All I wanted was clarity on what God was calling me to do. I wasn’t chasing a specific outcome — I just wanted to serve Him, know Him more, and make Him the center of everything. I couldn’t stop thinking about Jesus, His Word, and the wisdom and peace that come from walking with Him. That desire made it hard to come back to NYC, a place where I didn’t know many people I could talk about faith with or share Jesus alongside. I wanted community. I wanted conversation. I wanted a way to bring faith into everyday life in a way that felt natural and inviting.
One night while praying and asking God to lead every step, the phrase “Jesus loves you so matcha” came so clearly. It wasn’t just a thought, it felt like an assignment. That sentence became the foundation for everything that followed. Matcha became the meeting place. A reason to gather. What started as small matcha meetups turned into genuine conversations, friendships, and community. From there, creativity spilled out naturally and clothing became another way to carry the message beyond the moment.
At the heart of Jesus Loves You So Matcha is a simple mission: to make disciples, share Jesus, and spread faith in a world that desperately needs Him. To rob hell and make heaven crowded. To remind people whether they’re strong in faith, curious, or just stumbling in that they are deeply loved by God.
I don’t have it all figured out, and this brand isn’t about being perfect or “having it together.” It’s about obedience, trust, and saying yes even when you don’t feel ready. You’re never going to feel fully prepared to step into what God is calling you to, but if you trust Him, put your feet where they need to be, He will work the rest out.
